Event donations

DSV recover items from events post-show, such as non-perishable food and toiletries, to donate to Excel's charity partner Community Food Enterprise (CFE) who distribute these to food banks and community organisations across Newham and neighbouring boroughs.

Supply Chain travel emissions

Through central receiving depots across the globe, DSV are able to consolidate event freight and minimise the number of vehicles delivering event production materials, significantly reducing supply chain travel emissions. Electric plant and machinery, such as forklifts, are also in use at Excel to reduce emissions from onsite event logistics.

Sustainable solutions

DSV have eliminated difficult-to-recycle shrink wrap at Excel and only use 100% recyclable Vortex material.
DSV provide an empty case storage service where packaging from build is stored for reuse at breakdown, as well as a tea crate service to collect and deliver equipment for use in organiser offices, eliminating event packaging waste from both exhibitors and organisers.
DSV provide long-term storage opportunities to enable the reuse of materials at repeat shows.
DSV operate a completely paperless booking and traffic portal system for all shows at Excel.
